28-year-old Jeremiah Grady Simpson died as a result of injuries suffered in a single car accident in Mulberry.  The accident happened at approximately 1:40 a.m. when Simpson's 2010 Volvo C30 hit a dip in the roadway near SR60 and SR37 and went airborne.  The car apparently flipped three times after hitting a curb and the railroad tracks.  The speed of the Volvo is unknown but suspected to be in excess of the speed limit.  Simpson was reported to have graduated from George Jenkins High School and had served in the Army.
