2007 PIP/No-Fault Auto Insurance Law Expired Temporarily

In 2007, the State of Florida debated whether to allow the law requiring PIP (Personal Injury Protection) or no--fault auto insurance coverage to expire or whether to extend the law into the future. The Legislature chose to let the law expire and resurrected it in 2008.
