Deadly Plant City Car Accident

On Wednesday night, an unidentified person stole a sport utility vehicle and then caused two severe crashes.  A first crash happened at Holloway Road and Highway 60 in Plant City at about 9:40 p.m.  There, a Ford Taurus and a Ford F-250 collided when the truck ran a stop sign.  Both the driver and the passenger, Alfonso Hernandez and Salvador Gonzales, were ejected from the vehicle and were dead at the scene.   The driver of F-250, Alan W. Nobles, 39, was hospitalized at Tampa General with critical injuries.  37 year old passenger, Kelly Nobles, died at TGH.  The stolen SUV (Ford Explorer) hit the front of the Taurus and kept going.

A mile lated, the stoeln SUV struck a 2003 Toyota Corolla driven by 41 year old Rosie Gomez and passenger Luisa Gomez, 80.  Rosie and Luisa Gomez were transported to Lakeland Regional Hospital with critical injuries.  The driver of the explorer was seen running from the accident scene before police arrived.
