Mr. Moody was featured in the Lakeland Ledger after filing a lawsuit against the manufacturer of an industrial woodchipper.  Mr. Moody is quoted in the article and stated that the woodchipper could have been designed in a way that would have prevented the accidental death.  In particular, the lawsuit alleged that the table where branches were fed into the machine was not adequate to prevent a person from going through the woodchipper.  The lawsuit alleged design and manufacturing defects that made it inherently and extremely dangerous.  According to the article, Moody teamed up with Ft. Lauderdale lawyer, Jon Krupnick, who has successfully litigated several woodchipper cases.  In one case, Mr. Krupnick's firm obtained an $8.1 million verdict in a 1988 case involving a man who lost an arm.
