Pedestrian Killed in Turkey Lake Road Accident

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car near Turkey Lake Road and Sand Lake Road in Orlando, Florida.  The accident occurred at approximately 10 p.m.  Turkey Lake Road was closed for a time.

Moody Law represents persons injured in car accidents, including pedestrians.  Oftentimes, it is the pedestrian that suffers the more serious injury and/or death as the result of these accidents.  Also, pedestrian accidents can often be avoided by drivers who are paying attention and keeping a proper lookout.  Many of us call that defensive driving, but just because someone else is not where they are supposed to be does not mean that person can be hit, injured, or killed by a driver who has the opportunity to avoid it.  If you are not driving defensively, you can be called into court and held legally liable for another person's injuries or death even if you had the "right of way."
