Child Killed by Car on Daytona Beach

A four year old British girl was struck and killed on Daytona Beach, Florida.  The car was a Lincoln Town Car driven by 66 year old driven by Barbara Worley of Elberton, Georgia.  Police say that Worley stopped the car when the girl stepped out in front of the car but then stepped on the accelerator pedal in a panic.  The girl was pronounced dead at the scene.  The British girl was visiting from Nottingham, United Kingdom.
