Eddie D. Coggins, 32, was killed in a motorcycle crash in an early morning accident.  The accident occurred in Flagler County, Florida.  Coggins, of Ormond Beach, Florida, was going north on U.S. Highway 1 at approximately 3:30 a.m.  He was cut off by Elisabeth J. Rothwell, 24, of Ormond Beach, Florida.  Rothwell made a turn from Plantation Bay Rd. to go south onto U.S. Highway 1.  The motorcycle struck the left rear quarter panel of Rothwell's vehicle.  The impact threw Coggins onto the east shoulder of the road, the motorcycle slid, and fell to the right.  Charges against Rothwell are pending further investigation of the accident.
