Man Killed, Three Injured in Car Accident on Highway 27

Clermont, Florida.  A serious car accident killed an 82 year old man from St. Petersburg, Florida and seriously injured three other people.  The accident involved two vehicles on U.S. Highway 27 near the Four Corners area of Central Florida.  Garnet Kohn died from injuries at Orlando Regional Medical Center after the 4:40 p.m. crash.  The accident happened when Frank Glow, 83, of Clermont, Florida, made a right turn in from of the path of a Nissan.  The Nissan was driven by Wendy Schell, 52, of Plant City, Florida and struck the driver's side of the Chevrolet.  Kohn, deceased, was a passenger in the Nissah.  Margaret Smith, 78, of Clermont, Florida was a passenger in the Chevy.  Smith and Schell are reported to be in serious condition.  Glow was in critical condition.
