Two drivers were taken to the hospital after a car accident.  The accident occurred at Edgewater Driver and All American Boulevard.  One of the drivers has suffered life threatening injuries.  The other driver, operating a Hyundai Santa Fe, was experiencing difficulty breathing due to fumes from bleach that was spilled when the Hyundai flipped over.  The other vehicle was a Toyota sedan.  The crash is still under investigation.

Car accidents injure many people and damage the property of many more.  Sometimes, as in this case, the driver of one vehicle was carrying cargo that intensified the injuries.  Assuming that this driver was not at fault for the accident, then the driver who caused the accident will be responsible for the entire amount of injuries, including those caused by the bleach so long as the cargo was not being carried illegally.  In other words, a person is not penalized for carrying cargo so long as they did not do so negligently, such as failure to secure an item that should be secured by a reasonably prudent person.  Personal injury attorneys at Moody Law represent those who have been injured in car accidents in the greater Central Florida area, including Lakeland, Winter Haven, Bartow, Haines City, Davenport, or Polk County, Florida.  We also handle a select number of cases on a statewide basis.  Our other areas of practice include personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, and medical malpractice.   A consultation with one of our personal injury attorneys is free.
