Drunk Driver Kills Bicyclist

Orlando, Florida.  A drunk driver hit and killed a bicyclist in south Orange County this morning.  The accident occurred when Mark A. Dhanraj, 26, of Orlando, Florida, struck the back of the bicycle.  The victim was identified as Keith Hess, 44, of Orlando.  After the accident, Dhanraj fled the scene in a hit and run.  Dhanraj struck Hess with a 2001 BMW, running over Hess and the bicycle.  Two witnesses saw Dhanraj drive off of the roadway after striking Hess and then speed away.  The witnesses stopped to assist Hess and called police.  One of the witnesses followed Dhanraj who later crashed his BMW into a tree.Dhanraj apparently asked the witness to help him out of his damaged car.  A breath alcohol test revealed a 0.197 BAC.
