Hudson ATV Accident Kills One and Seriously Injures Another

An ATV accident in Hudson, Florida results in death to one man and serious injuries to another.  23-year-old Zankhrill Phillips missed a curve and struck a tree with his 2006 Honda ATV.  At the time of the accident, Phillips was carrying a passenger, Thomas Allen Carmack, 21.  Carmack is in critical condition.  Phillips died at the scene.  Carmack was taken to Bayfront Medical Center.  FHP found Phillips and Carmack at approxmately 6:30 a.m.  It is unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a role.  This accident is still under investigation.
