ATV's are dangerious instrumentalities in the State of Florida.  If you own an ATV, you must be just as careful when you lend out your vehicle to another as you are with your car.  ATV's can and often do caused serious bodily injury or death. The driver of a motor vehicle, including an ATV, is legally liable to the passengers for negligence.  Furthermore, the owner is legally liable to injured passengers under the dangerous instrumentality doctrine.  The dangerous instrumentality doctrine makes the owner strictly vicariously liable for any and all negligence committed by the driver within the course and scope of the permission to use the vehicle.  If you or a loved one has been injured in an accident, please contact a Central Florida personal injury or wrongful death attorney for more information about the legal responsibilities of the accident.  Each and every case is different but the call and appointment are always free.  If you have questions about an accident, call a Central Florida personal injury or car accident attorney today.
