Fatal Car Accident Shears Car in Half

Tampa, Florida.  A car accident near the intersection of Martin Luther King Blvd. and Himes Ave. resulted in the death of the driver after the vehicle struck a pole on the side of the road.  The car split in two following the crash.  Police responded to the scene at approximately 2:30 a.m.  This crash is under investigation and it is currently unknown why the accident happened.  Should you have information regarding this crash, you are urged to call the appropriate police authority.
