Our client was stopped along the side of Interstate-75 assisting a disabled motorist. A semi-truck side-swiped the vehicle and struck our client killing him. The defendant truck company contended that our client was under the influence of drugs and illegally parked. Notwithstanding these defenses, an $800,000.00 settlement was recovered for the client.
