Injury Accident Reported in Alturas

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash on Highway 60 near Alturas and Bartow with injuries.  Foggy conditions were widespread in Polk County at 7:31 a.m. when the crash was reported.  A number of other crashes were reported throughout Polk County as well.  Dense fog is a hazard for which drivers need to exercise additional caution.
