Students Injured in School Bus Accident By Moody Law | Personal Injury Attorneys on March 19, 2010

A Jeep Cherokee crashed into the rear of a Pasco County school bus catching fire at approximately 3:30 p.m..  The school bus accident occurred on U.S. 41 near State Road 52 in Land O' Lakes, Florida.  A total of 24 students were on the bus from Crews Lake Middle School.  A 12 year old boy and a 14 year old girl complained of neck and back pain.  No other significant injuries were reported.  The girl was sent to Spring Hill Regional Hospital.  The bus was stopped with its red ights and stop signs flashing when the white Jeep Cherokee struck the bus.  The driver of the Jeep Cherokee was Sara Evans, 21, of New Port Richey.  The Jeep went underneath and caught on fire.  Evans had minor injuries.  Evans was charged with careless driving.
