Two Injured in Road Rage Incident By Moody Law | Personal Injury Attorneys on March 31, 2010

Hernando County, Florida.  Two women with pickup trucks were involved in a road rage incident that injured them both.  One of the women was taken to jail.  Misty Rummel, 35, was traveling east in a 1998 Ford F-150 when was cut off by a driver who ran a stop sign while leaving a Sweetbay Supermarket on Mariner Boulevard in Hernando County.  The other woman in a 1992 GMC pickup truck, Gail Sievers, 57, turned into the Mobil gas station at Mariner and Hearth Road.  She said, "I hope you get a flat tire for running that stop sign."  As Rummel left the gas station, Sievers drove after her and tailgated her at high speed.  Sievers crashed into the rear end of Rummel's truck.  Rummel stated that she felt a pop in her back.  Sievers was arrested on aggravated battery.  There is no indication that Sievers attempted to brake before hitting Rummel.
