9-Year-Old Crash Victim Remembered By Moody Law | Personal Injury Attorneys on August 20, 2010

Donovyn Willangelo Frometa, 9-years-old, died of injuries suffered as a result of a car accident involving a tire malfunction.  The accident occurred on U.S. Highway 27 near South Bay in Palm Beach County, Florida when the vehicle driven by his father, a Polk County Sheriff's Deputy, lost control of the vehicle.  The father lost control of the vehicle due to a tire malfunction.  The 2002 Ford Sport Trac rotated into the median and rolled over several times.  The vehicle caught fire after the accident.  Witnesses pulled Donovyn, his two brothers, and the father from the crashed vehicle.  They were all wearing seatbelts.  Donovyn died at the scene.  His father, 38, and brothers Aaron, 13, and Ayden, 6, were airlifted to Delray Medical Center.  The boys received minor injuries while the father was placed in intensive care.
