Wahneta, Florida.  An ATV with no lights struck a bicycle at approximately 10:20 p.m. on Saturday night.  The accident resulted in the death of one teen and injuries to three others.

November 5, 2012.  A car accident in Winter Haven at U.S. 27 and Cypress Gardens Boulevard resulted in the death of a Bartow woman and her unborn child.  This accident was caused by a DUI driver.

A 29 year-old woman, who was newly married with a Masters Degree, presented to the emergency room by ambulance with symptoms of headache, weakness, confusion, and dizziness. She was seen in the ER Department by various healthcare providers. Various tests were performed including a CT Scan of the brain.

A family of four was traveling on vacation using U.S. Highway 27 for their trip to Walt Disney World. They were stopped at a traffic light when a fully loaded semi-tractor trailer rear-ended the family vehicle. One family member was killed and the other suffered serious injuries. In litigation, Mr. Moody took a video deposition of the defendant truck driver who admitted that he was in violation of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations for sleep deprivation and for too many hours on the job without adequate rest. Punitive damages were claimed, resulting in a $5,600,000.00 award.
