Lake County, Florida.  A 2-year-old child died from an incident with a pickup truck driven by the child's mother's boyfriend.

A car accident killed a 29-year-old man after attending a bachelor party earlier in the evening.  The man was a pedestrian on the BeachLine Expressway (S.R. 528) and was attempting to cross.

August 11, 2010.  Keeley Smith, 5, from Lakeland, Florida, was injured in a car accident on State Road 60 in Mulberry, Florida and has died from her injuries.

August 10, 2010.  A car accident last night killed one and injured three other.  The accident involved a pickup truck and a car that collided at Goldenrod Road and Rio Pinar Lakes Boulevard at approximately 8:30 pm.  Hydraulic cutters and tools were used to help the victims get out of the crashed vehicles.

June 29, 2010.  Auburndale, Florida.  A 71-year old man from Lakeland, Florida was riding his motorcycle on S.R. 559 near Adams Road when his motorcycle was struck by a car.

June 28, 2010.  A fatal bus accident that occurred near Lake Placid, Florida in Highlands County has resulted in another fatality.  The accident happened near Lake Placid on February 22, 2010 when the bus was hit by a car, ran off the road, and rolled over at least twice.

May 23, 2010.  A 3-year old boy was killed after darting out into traffic at Fort Mellon Park and was hit by a pickup truck.  The child was at a hot dog stand with his father when he slipped away and ran between two cars.  The accident happened along the RiverWalk on Lake Monroe near the Splash Pad, a water attraction for children.

April 17, 2010.  Treasure Island, Florida.  A 62 year old man was hit by a car as he crossed the street and has now died from injuries suffered in the accident.  The injured man was taken to Bayfront Medical Center and has been in intensive care since the accident.

April 21, 2010.  A Miami psychiatrist who treated a number of diabled or impoverished children was removed from a Medicaid program by state health care regulators with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.  A 12 year old boy died from complications of overmedication of potent mental health drugs.  The 12 year old was autistic.

April 19, 2010.  Brooksville, Florida.  Two people died and another was critically injured in a car accident that occurred just south of Brooksville on Sunday evening.  The car hit a culvert on the side of the road and overturned.  The accident is still under investigation and it is not known at this time whether alcohol played a role in this crash.

April 14, 2010.  A 29 year old man from St. Petersburg, Florida died after being struck by an SUV earlier this week.
