Palm Harbor, Florida.  A 3-year old boy is in critical condition after he nearly drowned in a backyard pool on Sunday evening.  The boy was flown to All Children's Hospital in critical condition and remains in critical condition.  The child's mother was visiting friends with her five children when the 3-year old flipped over inside a circular flotation device.  Another child called the parents for help.

June 7, 2010.  Robin Parks, the driver suspected of shooting two people on a drunken rampage behind the wheel of a motor vehicle, has been charged with five counts of attempted first degree murder and battery using a deadling weapon.  Zachary Tucker, 18, and Katrina Hines, 30, were shot on June 5, 2010 on U.S. Highway 92 in Polk County, Florida.

May 27, 2010.  The family a the 14-year old boy who died following a 2008 water scooter accident has sued the owner of the water scooter.

May 24, 2010.  A 4-year old was seriously injured by a lawnmower accident in Orange County, Florida.  The child was apparently riding with another person on the lawnmower when the accident happened.  The accident cause wounds to the face and a "near amputation."  The accident was reported after 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

April 30, 2010.  A crash is being investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol on Warrior Road near Windermere Road in Winter Garden, Florida.  No details are currently available from the crash.

April 14, 2010.  A new law was passed and signed into law by Florida Governor Charlie Crist.  The new statute provides new language applicable to when the owner of a business establishment is responsible for the slip and fall of a patron.
