Fatal New Port Richey Accident

A tragic accident occurred in New Port Rickey, Florida with a Mercury Marauder involved in a possible racing incident. The accident occurred when the Marauder fishtailed and struck a metal guardrail. Thereafter, the Marauder went flying down an embankment and sailed into the air over two 15-foot palm trees. The car landed at the entrance of Cypress Trail Apartments still rolling. A debris field of over 200 feet was left. It is believe that both racing vehicles were going in excess of 100 mph.
